Managing your loan

At Keystart our aim is to provide you with excellent service that’s friendly, courteous and prompt.

If you are an existing client and want to find out more about your account please contact a Customer Service Officer on 1300 578 278.

First home buyers are encouraged to build up equity in their property as quickly as possible by making more than the required minimum repayments. Once 20% equity has been accumulated, it is then expected that our clients will seek to refinance their loan to a bank or other lender. Keystart is here to help first home buyers enter the property market but does not expect clients to remain with us for the long term.

It's vitally important that your account does not go into arrears. If you are having problems making your repayments you should speak with one of our Arrears Officers in the Loans Management Department on 9338 3139 and they will explain your options.

Feedback

Keystart is in the business of listening as well as lending. We welcome comments, suggestions and feedback from our customers.

We are committed to the efficient and fair resolution of complaints which will be dealt with quickly and courteously

If complaints become disputes, Keystart has an established process for dispute resolution and, when necessary, for mediation.

If you would like to provide feedback, click here. If you would prefer to speak to someone directly, please phone 1300 578 278.

Repayments

Provided the minimum repayments are met, your loan repayments can be altered at any time to suit your needs. You are encouraged to increase your repayments to whatever you can afford to improve the equity position in your home. To change your repayments, please download the Direct Debit form and fax to 9338 3101 or post to PO BOX 6679, East Perth, WA 6892.

Discharging from Keystart

Keystart is designed to be a transitional scheme and at some stage you may decide to refinance.

A good time to consider refinancing is when you have built up 20% equity in your housing loan, and/or if you have increased your income.

If you are selling your property or refinancing away from Keystart, you will need to complete a Discharge Authority Form. Please click on the link below to complete the form and post to PO BOX 6679, East Perth, WA 6892.

Budgeting

It is important to compile a budget for your household to ensure you are able to keep up with your loan repayments. Adhering to a budget can relieve a lot of financial stress and takes away the pain of receiving a large bill you hadn’t planned for.

You are encouraged to make use of the complimentary budget planner below to assist with your financial management. Should you ever feel you are experiencing financial hardship, please don’t hesitate to contact our office to discuss your situation.
