Keystart Home Loans is an initiative of the West Australian government, owned by the Department of Housing, established in 1989 to assist West Australians into affordable housing.
The Country Housing Authority (CHA) is a statutory organisation governed by its own Parliamentary Act. The CHA was established in 1998 after it replaced Rural Housing which had been operating since 1972.
The alliance formed between Keystart and CHA means we can offer a broad range of lending options ranging from shared equity loans to farmer and rural business housing loans.
Keystart Home Loans and CHA have assisted around 80,000 Western Australian households in becoming proud homeowners. That has represented a combined total of over $8.3 billion in home loans. More than that, it has given Western Australians the opportunity to improve their lifestyle, establish themselves and their families and enjoy the benefits of the community in which they live.
