Keystart completes GTE transition

On 1 July Keystart officially completed the transition to becoming a Government Trading Enterprise (GTE), in line with the State Government's GTE reforms. During the transition period, there has been no disruption to services, and it's been 'business as usual' for Keystart and our customers.

Becoming a GTE has updated Keystart's governance arrangements, ensuring greater transparency and accountability to the people of Western Australia. Through the Keystart GTE Bill, which provides our enabling legislation, we are now in a position to play a more substantial role in supporting housing outcomes for Western Australians.

As part of this transition, several new board directors joined Keystart on 1 July to help guide the organisation.

With our increased role as a GTE, we're looking forward to meeting the current and future challenges of the housing marking in Western Australia.
