Estimated repayments

Loan repayment amounts shown are based on a simplified amortised schedule of repayments model. Actual loan repayments are subject to various internal and external factors including (but not limited to) changes in interest rates, fees and taxes. In particular, the model cannot predict future interest rates and therefore assumes the current variable rate for the remainder of the loan period.

Deposit

Your deposit will be the higher of 2% or $2,000. Deposit amounts may vary dependent on location and purchase price. See loan product pages for more details.

Tax payable

The tax calculation provided is based upon the Australian Taxation Office official tax rates. The actual tax payable by you will depend upon your personal circumstances.

Expenses

Please note: If the amount you've entered for living expenses is lower than our Keystart benchmark of reasonable expenses, we will calculate your borrowing capacity based on our benchmark and will include any other expenses you have declared.

What's left over

This is an estimate of your surplus funds taking into account the information you've provided. You may wish to consider retaining some of this amount as a buffer for any change in your financial circumstances.
