We have a vision to make the dream of affordable home ownership a reality for more people. Any surplus funds generated are returned to the Department of Communities (Housing Authority) to help their social housing initiatives.
We only do home loans. Unlike banks we don’t try to sell other products and once you have built some equity we encourage you to refinance with another lender.
While we are proudly an initiative of the Western Australian government, we are not established under a statute, or as a government agency. We are a company with one beneficial owner, being the Housing Authority, and we are governed by an independent board of directors regulated by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission.

So, you've made a successful offer on a property. Exciting times! Now you need to meet any outstanding pre-approval conditions, so we can move onto formal approval.
Loan and mortgage documents will be sent to you to sign. These will form the contract between you and Keystart.
When you receive your loan and mortgage documents, Keystart's settlement agent will liaise with your settlement agent to organise settlement.
A date will be set to transfer the property into your name. Once settlement has occurred you can move into your new home!
