Get up close and personal with some goats, donkeys, cows and much more this holiday break! Landsdale Farm is a fun and educational day out for the family. At $15 a ticket, you will be able to check out all the different animals, learn about farming and relax in the beautiful grounds.
Rainbow Water Playground
Also known as the Ellenbrook Water Playground, it’s one of Perth’s largest water playgrounds. As the weather is heating up again it can be a great place to cool off with the family. There is no admission fee and there's lots of grassed area and BBQs. So pack a picnic and head out for the day! There's no doubt the kids will be ready for bed after a day running around in the water sprays and cannons!
This free Hop On Hop Off tram runs around Subiaco and Shenton Park, stopping off at Kings Park on the way. It's run by local volunteers from Tuesday to Saturday. All you have to do is raise your hand when you see the tram and the driver will stop for you anywhere on the route.
Rio Tinto Naturescape
Based in Kings Park, this nature play area offers your kids an adventure right in the city. Walk among the treetops on The Python or splash around in Paperbark Creek. There's plenty to discover and doesn't cost you anything. Why not hail the Subiaco Tram to Kings Park and make a day of it?
Wellington Square Playground
The newly upgraded playground took over 12 months to complete. Located in East Perth it is one of the biggest playgrounds in the Greater Perth Area. Boasting a 3000 square meter playground that features a skate park, nature play, climbing towers and so much more. 60 per cent of the park is covered in canopy offering you plenty of shade on those extra warm days. There's plenty to keep you and your kids of all ages entertained!
Inspire your imaginations this holiday break by visiting Scitech in West Perth. The interactive science museum includes a planetarium, theatres and a range of themed feature exhibitions. Tickets starting at $12, it can be a new way to keep your kids minds and yours stimulated during the holidays.
