Welcoming Rebecca Field to the Keystart Board
The WA Government has appointed experienced lawyer Rebecca Field as a non-executive Director to the Keystart Board, for a three-year term commencing 1 October 2026.
As a partner at Corrs Chambers Westgarth, Ms Field brings strong legal and commercial experience in the Western Australian market, with expertise that aligns closely with Keystart’s operating environment.
Ms Field’s expertise has been recognised through numerous industry accolades, including as a finalist for Lawyers Weekly Government Lawyer of the Year 2025, and recognition by Best Lawyers Australia and Doyle’s Guide.
The appointment replaces outgoing Director Rob McKenzie, who concludes his term on 30 September following 10 years on the Keystart Board.
The WA Government has also reappointed Kerryn Edwards as a Director for a further two-year term.
Keystart Chair Michael Barnes PSM welcomed the appointment.
“Rebecca Field brings deep experience and expertise to the Keystart Board, which will be invaluable as Keystart continues to deliver on its expanded mandate of enabling housing supply through development finance.
“I thank Rob McKenzie for his outstanding service over the past 10 years. Rob has played a key role in guiding Keystart through a period of significant growth and change, contributing to Keystart’s important work in growing home ownership across WA.
“Keystart’s Board is committed to achieving our purpose of making the dream of an affordable home a reality for more Western Australians.”
